Craft Expo | Rosehill Racecourse

I've attended this event two years back and it was one of the best craft shows I've ever been too. I actually managed to stay the entire hours the show was open from 10 - 5pm and boy, was I exhausted after. The Craft Expo is back on this year, after a lapse last year.

There are tonnes of things to do at the Expo, including seminars, workshops plus more
Workshops & Fun Activities. The best thing about this expo is there is a good mix of FREE and paid for seminars, so you dont have to be Paris Hilton rich to make the most out of the day. There are ‘listen and learn’ and ‘hands-on’ educational programs at the expo and is the pefect chance to talk to the professionals and pick their brains.

FREE Seminars:
Make sure you attend one of the FREE CraftExpo Seminars to learn about the latest craft techniques and new products from experienced craft retailers, all keen to share their knowledge with you.

FREE Stage Presentations:
Come on over, sit down and enjoy the entertainment. You’ll pick up new techniques and tips, and see new products from specialist retailers in these FREE Stage Presentations.

Make & Take Workshops:
Get hands-on with all the latest craft trends in the Make & Take workshops. For just the cost of a kit and one hour of time, you’ll make a project to take home!

Bead Boudoir:
In this hands-on jewellery-making and beading area you’ll find a variety of lovely projects you can complete at the expo. Come along and dip your toe into the beautiful 'pool' of beading!

Discovery Desk:
Spend 15 minutes with a craft expert and see up-close just how it's done.

Details:
Tickets - Adults $15
Seniors, age & disability pensioners $13
Children (5-16 yrs) $7
Children (under 5 yrs) FREE
OPEN 10am - 4:30pm

  1. The fair you attended 2 years ago was The Stitches & Craft Show not this show. This show is trying to be that show and doesn't come close. I went last year when it was at the showgrounds and it was really bad and not worth the money. I'm sure lots of people will make the same mistake you have made - it's what the organsisers of Craft Expo are hoping for.

  2. Hi Anonymous, Thanks for the tip. Well, I will be heading there on the weekend and of course I will reporting on how it goes. Fingers crossed this one will be good, we really need some more good hearty craft events to sink our craft teeth into.
