The lovely designer from I Made It told me about the Blacktown Art and Zine Fair coming up on 10th April. Join the youth of Blacktown as they grab a bargain, swap zines and check out Western Sydney’s underground artist selling badges, handmade arts, prints and crafts.
As apart of Youth Week 2011, the Blacktown City Council is coordinating a week long festival of events featuring talented Musicians, Performers, Buskers, Installation Artists and Demonstrators. “The Youth Art Market was developed to tap into the talents of our City’s young people. The market is an outlet for their art and craft to be showcased to the local community and to practice their business skills”, Mayor of Blacktown City, Councillor Alan Pendleton said.

What are Zines you ask?
Zines are small independent publications created by a person or collective, some zines are part of a series, others are one-offs, but all are done in small print runs; once they're gone, they're gone forever.
