Kate Middleton Wedding Dress Pictures Revealed

It was the event that everyone was watching, the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton and the dress that stopped the world. All was finally revealed as Kate made her entrance into Westminster Abbey. Wearing a stunning long-sleeve lace, ivory and satin gown with flattering V neckline and 8-foot-long train with a simple lace-edged veil and sparkling tiara to set off the picturesque vision. Queen Elizabeth II lent her the Cartier-designed "halo" tiara, and the teardrop diamond earrings were a personal gift from her parents.

The first glimpse

OMG...Stunnning. The designer of the most awaited dress in history thus far, by Sarah Burton, the 36-year-old creative director of British fashion house Alexander McQueen! Kate's ivory duchess satin heels were also courtesy of Alexander McQueen.

Could there be a more fairytale princess wedding? kate worked closely with the designer to create  a " dress to combine tradition and modernity with the artistic vision that characterises...McQueen's work."

Sister and bridesmaid Pippa was on hand to help Kate with the gown as she made her entrance. The bodice and skirt's lace appliqué was handmade by the Royal School of Needlework, while the dress is made of ivory and white satin gazar. The pleated skirt was made to resemble an "opening flower" (love!), and the bodice, which was "padded at the hips, draws on the Victorian tradition of corsetry."

Check out some of the crazy hats that appeared during the ceremony, pictuedd are Princesses Beatrice, 22, and Eugenie, 21
